Deer on the roads in Dorset!!!!!!!!!!

Post by Mike Daytona600 »

I read in MCN yesterday that poachers are luring deer on the roads by putting food on them. Then once hit by a car they take the dead deer. So be carefull and if you see anyone putting stuff in the roads give them a mouth full.

If i see someone doing that, i'll pull over and force feed him the chuffing bait!!

....hang on..jam sandwich's are quite nice though..mmmm. I'll beat him up instead, and then eat the bait.

I came flying round a corner late one night to see a deer standing on the side of the road. Like a horror movie. Didn't know whether to brake, swerve or close my eyes. So I did all 3.
Neither the deer or myself was hurt. Phew

That's scarey as hell.

I sometimes head along Tout hill past Monkey World etc., and i've been seeing alot of deer recently, and just as you experienced; they're stood at the side of the road, always staring at me. Im saying into my helmet "don't you dare run out, don't even think about it!!", not that i expect it to hear & understand or anything... :? ahem.
