It came with vista which is shite, so i formatted it back to xp, but forgot to backup the drivers... doh!

The cd that came with the lappy should have all the drivers on it somewhere, or you could try Acers' website, or seomwhere like driverguide.com. Search google too. If you want specific things in google, like av97 acer driver,try putting things together in quotes on google to get better results, eg ' "ac97 driver" "acer 5050" ' Google will only return results that have the words in quotes together, and also you can put plus or minus in eg +acer will only return results with acer in and '+"ac97 driver" +acer ' will only return results that contain both "ac97 driver" AND acer so you can get quite specific results. On the whole though, manufacturer websites are the best bet.
