Lands End to John O'Groats...and back again

Post by T&C125 »

Hey everyone,

Just thought I would let you all know about a ride my father and I am doing this year :D

On the 12th of May we will be riding from Lands End to John O'Groats and back again on our 125's in aid of the British Heart Foundation. We have put aside 12 days to get there and back again so are planning to take it nice and steady (Not that there is any other type of ride on our 125's!).

You can find all the details on our ride at: http://www.riding4hearts.co.uk

Any help that anyone can offer is gratefully received, whether its sponsoring us or advising on what gear you think we should take.

Please check the site for updates as I try to add to it when ever I can :D

Thanks for reading

I am doing it on a AJS Regal Raptor and my Dad is doing it on a Jin-Jun Arizona...so its gonna be very much fingers crossed

Although i have done nearly 4000 miles on my bike since November 07 and its been relatively problem free :D

Sounds like a beastly ride of epic proportions.

Id get some more padding for the seat for doing the long distance's. A screen might help too just to protect you from the wind a bit. Although being a 125 the extra drag caused by the screen might not be worth it.
