You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.

Any lower limit on engine size? I'll only be on a 250...

only stipulation is that the bike will do the speed limit, stu and his dad are coming on their 125's (they really like them)

That's kewl, i gotta mate in bristol who'll probs come on his Yammy FS1XD!
And posibly my mum n stepdad on their KH750 (completely restored and all originl parts!), my sis on her 125, my mate on his 125 and me uncle on his 'Wing combo.

There's a few more signed up!

FS1 speed limit? nah, i had one in the seventies only place to get 60 out of it was down that hill by woodford bridge hotel, KH 750 there is an iconic machine screaming 2 stroke engine, rubber frame, more fun than a bag of rattlesnakes, suppose you could load the fissy in the chair attached to the wing

Cheers Simon...its been know on rare occassion for the 'beast' to reach the heady heights of 75mph...althought i admit the wind was with me on that day :D
60mph up a hill is a rare creature for me though :shock:

Your bike doing 60MPH up hill is about as likely as Funky being straight. :twisted:

I met a fella last week that would like to go on this ride...

I had to interview him for a vacancy we have, and we got talking bikes...

He is new to biking, already had a spill...

Passed his test last month... and went straight out and bought...

Any north devonians up for going down the a386 to plymouth and meeting the others at this infamous "Jaspers" place?

Just been down that way today and im absolutely gutted i didnt go on my bike....its an awesome biking road. :evil:



Missus told me off for taking pictures of bikes down at plymouth hoe with her camera...come on tho-an MV agusta!! :? :o
