Punkbuster is a pain in the ass at times, there are about 10 reasons for it to kick you, heartbeat, high ping,pnkbstrA.exe,pnkbstrB.exe and plenty more but it does catch out the hacking, cheating gits on a regular basis. Of course if a person is caught using the wallhacks or an aimbot then its quite possible he will get ganged up on by both sides and shot then revived then shot again and revived for ages as a lesson. There is a couple of vids here of a hacker caught on the Pink panthers server one is to some hardcore music

Glad you enjoyed though, it was getting a bit intense at times but thats why i like it and its a laugh

What is it with online and war games? I don't get it. All you do is run around shooting each other. I don't see where the fun is in that. Come to think of it, what is it with war games in general? Why do so many people like them so much? I'd much rather play something that gets my imagination going rather than just some fictitous re-hash of a battle that actually you'd never survive if you behaved like you do in the games, so I don't get what the attraction is? I'm crying out for people to play online race games, like motogp07 or flatout ultimate carnage but no one ever seems to. Does anyone else like games that challange the brain or are you all just after the blood and guts thing? Why?

(Sitting waiting for the ear bashing....)

fair enough, but what u have to remember is that as (ahem) men we like to kill things, its in our genetic makeup. unfortunaly as 'society' has 'developed' its made it more nd more difficult for us to do this. so now with the onset of the virtual world we are allowed to kill once more and get away with it.

plus its fun, we can hang out with mates, play war and get our fill of competitive action - all within the confines of our own homes.

racing games are fun but we are old enough to do that for real

Blood and guts is good, it all depends on who you play with, a good bunch can have some fun along the way, nothing like sneaking up behind someone and stabbing them when they least expect it (virtually of course) then there's the team play side of it, everybody relying on everyone else to do their bit to reach the objective and then of course the good humoured mickeytaking for the victors after a particularly blood thirsty battle :D

I love FPS games. Even now when I'm sneaking around with a sniper rifle and then get shot I jump. I like to shot big guns and I like it when some poor unexpecting sole is running along or sneaking around only for me to pop him in the swead. 8) It's all about getting that shot, followed by blood etc

But I also enjoy God games eg command and conquer, dawn of war, and occasional sim.

I've got a few racing games on ps2 and there ok but I get anoyed when I keep loosing on them and board when I keep wining. Basicaly you get a bit of adrenaline rush with shooters.

As for platform games where you see the person running around.....rubbish

But as said each to there own.

And I know someone that plays GP07 on line on xbox. He came karting with swb and has done a few ride but doesn't really use the forum. I'll give him your gametag if you like :D

Does anyone use xfire, its much easier, its like msn for games, u can chat, and u can join what server people are on by the touch of a button. Much easier than switching between msn game ect.

Lovin COD4 but have a Q. The manual is crap. What I wanted to know is I have 2 profiles, one for single player, one for multi. By not just using one am I missing out on and upgrades in multi that I could've picked up in single.

Also is there anywhere I can look that tells you a bit more about the game eg what all the different muti game types mean etc.

Cheers, A thick Mike

Don't use X-fire much because i know loads of people in the gaming world and once you pop up, thats it you cant get a game in because everyone is chatting to you :D, BF2 three nights a week for me,tue.thurs and sunday, anytime you fancy a game, probably along with BamBam, the servers i usually frequent are the UK-C or Pink Panthers both good solid servers where cheating is not tolerated in the least so you get a fair hard game, ther ips are printed elsewhere in this post or a search under UK or Pink will throw them up, the UK-C also has a COD server on the go ip is 217.146.93.46:28930 that a lot of the guys go on. Two more games coming out soon Fuels of War and Battlefield Bad Company, both look good especially Bad Company :D :D
