i went past an unmarked car. at about 70 as there was a lorry at the top of the hill i got past well before the dual lane finished....
next thing i know theres a 'what looked like a holiday maker' up my arse. i went faster.. constantly checking my mirrors as i went.. still up my arse.... faster... mirror. still up my arse... couple miles later on with the blues and twos.. 98.5 mph 6 points, 370.00 plus fine.....
didnt give the said officers no abuse... went down the station to make an offical complant... some sgt. gave me a fob story i should have waved them past , or i should of mantained a casual speed.... ok then live in the real world...



i will say i have come across some good decent fair coppers in d n c. but im affraid the antics of one can tarnish the rest...
check the paper out at mo rip poor girl....
i witnessed a marked car go through a major cross road the other day at above 90.with lights on but they really didnt do shit at that speed.. if i was on my bike at the lights i would have been in there path as it takes a couple extra secs to pull away in the car... there where also two bewildered people stood in the middle of the road. obviously nearly taken out n in shook. i nearly went and reported that....

i understand the need to get to an emergancy quickly but you have to do so safely... lights and sirens regardless of time..

and those that commit dangerous acts on the road should be held accountable!!

im not a all out speeder, time and place..
the police have some very bad pr at the moment n i dont think they are improving it... some good pics in press of late.. no handed etc etc.. wish i could get away with that one... looked funny..

any way not a dig at all police ,
it is good to know when you pay your inssurance tax etc. that those that dont, get court... makes me laugh the fines less than inssurance anyway...

not to sure where all the above came from im going to go and hide for fear of any reprisales......none of the above aim at you si.

Loads of mobile camaras and guns out at the moment, police are having another crack at operation Vortex this month which basically deals with speeding and dangerous driving. Watch out in particular for mobile units on bridge tops around the A361 and M5 and for unmarked cars...in the last few days i've spotted a silver focus ST, Dark Blue volvo and a green vw passat.

If you're in or near the Taunton area keep your eyes peeled for an unmarked silver BMW estate, very subtle, upsetting quite a few locals at the moment.

its operation everest up or way... you wouldnt belive the number of drivers pulled , and convicted....
i think we should have a thread stating unmarked vehicles we spot out and about just to even the odds a little...
street fighter magazine have this as a regular feature.... they occasionally have some down our way.....
fair play though they have had a few school buses taken off the road as they had major defects. no one wants there kids on a dodgy bus!!

Yeah I heard about the horse box and the bike with a camera on a bend, MCN have stuff on it all the time. I also read that there are unmarked bikes about too. I was once told by a copper that you can tell those that are unmarked plods as they have two aerials on them.
