You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.
Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

For anyone who was behind me today I would like any feed back on what you though of my riding and any advice on how to improve it. Thanks.

It's only a confidence thing
Just try riding a route you know in say 3rd but stay off the brakes using the engine braking to slow you for corners. Everytime you apply the brakes in a corner it upsets the suspension.

So why are you not doing this on the track then

just a case of doing more group rides mark, then instead of being in the front pinning it, stay in the pack or at the rear and watch and follow the lines of the rider in front. that way u will get more relaxed on the bike and in the corners.
just dont follow me cos i cant do corners as julian will agree.

Julian isnt perfect, I saw him almost go hedge diving and he didnt even choose a road with an escape path.billinom8s wrote:

I thought you rode just fine Mark, didnt see any major errors or issues although I was paying more attention to where I was going rather than watching your arse.
