Sad news but they shouldn't had been on the road even assuming the 16yr old was riding he would have had CBT therefore no pillions... were they even wearing helmets?

Two up on a bike designed to carry one, which they are reported to have stolen, and which neither were old enough to ride legally ....... thank goodness no-one else was involved.

A very sad loss of life.

RIP
Such a waste...
It's a shame as these sort of accidents don't give us bikers a good rep - it gives MPs, the press, the coppers and everyone else even more reason to latch on and to brand us and our machines dangerous, also doesn't help that it was in conjunction with a crime too!

Modern parenting and schooling is obviously to blame here. Some of the chavs and twocers of today really need some hard lessons in the real world of life.

Always sad news when people die because of accidents. However, I also believe in responsibility and common sense, both of which these two obviously lacked. Thoughts go out to their families, and a damn good lesson in the dangers of driving bikes irresponsibly.

Take care and drive safe.

When I started reading this I was feeling the same sympaphies and sorrow.

Then I read that it was actually theiving scum on a stolen bike and that's where my sympaphy stopped. That bike could have belonged to any one of us, and I bet the owner doesn't feel sorry for them.

I remember how I felt when I discovered my pride and joy missing from my garage, then the gutting feeling when the police contacted me to say they'd found it burnt out after it had been thrashed around a field.

Sorry, but [censored] them. What goes around comes around

Oh, I'm Mark, by the way, ride an R1, nice to meet you all

Sad news. I kinda feel bad for the owner of the bike. every time he look's at it he's gunna know the two lives were lost on it and he's gunna feel slightly guilty even though there's nothing he could do.
