Has anyone here heard anything else about this accident? My 1st impressions from the pic would be the rider is way over the double lines and into oncoming traffic

When I saw Lorenzo crash my reaction went something like this:

Blimey sort of touched on a point I think. Yeh Stoner may be spoilt and yeh Rossi may be a diva and yeh Padrosa may have been born without the muscles in his face that make you smile, but at least it's got us all talking about it no matter what we think.

As for the commentry team on the BBC, Charlie Cox was brought in as a retired car racer so he could ask all the questions the car fans would ask and make comparissons between cars and bikes. This was done for the F1 fans etc getting into bikes, and I think was when the beeb lost F1 to ITV.

Steve Parish does know his stuff cos he used to race. And at least the whole team bring a bit of banter to it as well, like the sidecar thing they did

One of the best races I've seen since Jerez in 2005 when Rossi did a nice little move on Gibernau in the last corner (we all remember that one )

I hope we see a few more races like that, we have seen before that Stoner is not very good at following riders.
