is the national the smallest of the 3 layouts at sliverstone or is it the smaller circuit that you still drop under the bridge and into the complex section ?

national circuit at 99quid is a rip off, from memory its over the start line with about 3 corners then onto the long straight followed by 2 corners and onto the silly chicane and back onto the start line so as long as pembrey but probably not as much fun as a mallory or pembrey 8)

Is that what used to be called the club circuit? If so, then yes it is pretty pants. I did the GP circuit on Bank Holiday Monday - pretty good, plenty wide so it was forgiving if you went a bit wide, the two straights (Hangar and the one up to Abbey) were pretty boring, but the rest wasn't too bad, apart from the poxiest chicane (spit!) ever created. Only downsides on the day were Jon (who did Llandow and Pembrey on his CBR600) highsiding off at the Abbey chicane - hurt both ankles and is still suffering from the concussion he sustained, and a front slick on mine that kept deflating - it's pretty disconcerting finishing a session of a front tyre that's almost flat - I changed the tyre but it still happened so tomorrow I'll be investigating the Dymag rim - shouldn't have fatigued as it's only about a year old, I know we've had issues with fatigue cracks in Phase One's wheels, but they get a lot more use than mine does...

I did the full GP circuit with Hottrax - I didnt like the TDO much, definately way below No limits standard, I dont like their no overtaking on the last lap thing either - its really irritating.

I especially didnt like the dickhead course marshall and his Nazi seminar on Noise limits, I have no problem adhering to a tracks noise limits but there are ways of getting the message across. Somebody needs to remind the guy we are his customers.

I thought the track was ok at best.

I wouldnt go back there are a lot of other tracks that deserve my money above that lot.
