got to disagree with you blimey, if there was a single tyre it would still be the same as it is now. if bridgestones were so superior why is a class rider like melandri struggling,why is hopkins so far down ? its the bikes and the electrics that are to blame and not the tyres. how come nobody complained about a singe tyre before bridgestone were the best. the single tyre rule hasnt done much to help the midfield runners at wsbk or bsb level has it,its still the top6 riders and then a big gap
why dont we introduce it as yamaha 800 cc cup for next year on bridgestones as that will make it fairer but i'd still expect the same riders to be finishing where they are now. theres only 3 maybe 4 real class riders out there and its becoming slightly boring but still enjoyable seeing rossi winning again
I think Rossi just loves close racing, you could see that after Laguna Seca. I reckon even if he lost by bike length he would had been happy and be the first to shake Stoners hand. I watched a few close races between him and Gibernau and Rossi is always there when respect is due.
