Well it wasnt me either and there is no chance that Simon will ever get his knee down.
What a great day hurry up next year when we can start all again

Re: Pembrey Sept 26th Roll Call
great pics again Gav - cheers.
how did you get track access for those shots - some of them dont look taken from the infield??
superb day - with a bit of the weather we should have had in july/august. polished of with almost no crashing which gave loads of track time(I believe there was only one crash for the entire day which has to be some sort of record)
...a fair bit of grass tracking though

Re: Pembrey Sept 26th Roll Call
Most pics were taken on the banking from the hairpin to the double lefts, just walk across the track where you enter/exit the paddock area, walk left and thats it. There isnt many great places to take pics, big mud filled tyre banks with overgrown grass doesnt help. Next time I may venture down to the old hairpinjason wrote: how did you get track access for those shots - some of them dont look taken from the infield??
If anyone wants all the pics of them then let me know and I'll upload them.
There was a crash in the final Novice session (and I think the final Inters too?) probably a bit of fatigue.

Re: Pembrey Sept 26th Roll Call
Another fun filled couple of days with no offs ( from our group )that ended in disaster. Great company and the real bonus was the fantastic weather, lucky or what!.
Great pics gav
, and you remembered your boots.
Really enjoyed dicing with layne, had a few slides but got away with it
Blimey you are one lucky [censored], that chain could have gone anywhere and taken you with it
. I also wish to state you have bigger balls than me. I wimped out of going in the fast group, you da man
I liked riding on the tarmac best, though some went motocrossing as well
Pembrey [censored] up ??? A 200mile trip to get home and they can’t find the car keys!!!
Bty. I’ve got the walkie-talkie, will return it when I see you.
Until the next one

Re: Pembrey Sept 26th Roll Call
ah thats a shame (i left straight after the last fast group session so missed being around for those). I dont know about fatigue but braking for the hairpin off the start finish straight was making my hand and wrist seriously ache by the last couple of sessions!DynaMight wrote:If anyone wants all the pics of them then let me know and I'll upload them.jason wrote: how did you get track access for those shots - some of them dont look taken from the infield??

just for the record i spent most of the morning trawling fleabay for track fairings and other goodies
it was just a great day with some cracking buddies and chucking the bike around without a care in the world(sort of
ps. sorry kelly if i spooked u on one or two overtakes
Re: Pembrey Sept 26th Roll Call
Twas a fab day as always and how lucky our we with the weather
Company was great too and really enjoyed it.
Had the rear end moving around alot coming out the slower corners which was knocking convidence abit so something need to look into. Better rubber maybe or better control of the right wrist
Tucked into a good few pints of beer last night and a bottle of red. The 3 weeks off the fizzy stuff was killing me so i livened up last night.
Julian moving up to the fast group was brave and my word wasn't it fast. Struggled to keep up on the warm up laps
Managed to over take 2 bikes and was linning up the 3rd which was a struggle. Took the entrance wide into the top hairpin to cut under him and have a drag race down the straight. Flat out in 3rd clicked for 4th and it just revved out, clicked again and revved out again. Knew the cahin had gone
Stripped bike yesterday. Some lovely chunks taken out of the rear swing arm and all looked not so bad other then the chunk taken out the undertray. Will have to fill that with silicon i recon as its right where the cdi unit is i think
Rear hugger and chain gaurd is knackered but wheel hasn't got a mark on it
But when i took off the front sprocket cover there ain't a lot left in there. Front Sprocket is wrecked and trashed the engine casing all around it but some how managed not to pirece it it so no oil leaks
The only part thats left is where the 2 10mm bolts hold the sprocket housing on
How bleedin lucky is that.
Anyhow still here to tell the tale and can't wait till next year to start banging some more in.
Till next time
