Weather was good enough this afternoon in Plymouth for a decent ride. Went across the moor, got home and the bike was shit high and covered in salt. I need some decent gloves I could hardly feel my fingers.

Funny you should say that georgie_d, I really struggled today with a clear visor, and I wear reacting glasses too. Im investing in a tinted visor, sod the law

Beautiful Ride Sunday. Saturday night there had been a heavy snow fall accross mid-devon. In the sunshine most had melted by midday, but my G/f and I headed north from Tiverton towards Bampton and then took the Wivaliscomb road. From Bampton onwards it was spectacular, with more and more snow on the ground. (it was bloody freezing) but it was so stunning it was worth it. With the snow on the road getting more and more we finally stopped at Waterrow where everything was buried under 3" of snow. Not a long ride but it was getting a bit too slippery to carry on. After a nice but expensive lunch at the Rock Inn, we headed back through the rolling hils covered in snow. There was less on the road but that had been replaced by floods as the snow was melting. Only about 30 miles all in but soooo stunning and we were the only bike to brave the snow and got some very strange looks and comments from people in the pub. Only 4x4's go out in the snow??? I think not. :D
