Bad luck m8, i failed first time as well, not all my own fault, an hours slow riding round town before the test saw me flatten my battery and my indicators stopped working and the Examiner wouldnt let me carry on with hand signals. Better luck next time :D

Yes but you passed on a horse and cart. It was much easier back in them days, some folk even had electricity.

Don't worry about it too much mate, you've obviously learnt alot and that will always stay with you, so well worth the money.

What they say about all the best bikers failing first time is true, I for example did pass first time and they call a crash a 'funky'...

unlucky mate keep at it, i took a 3 day intensive course and managed to pass 1st time but i was about 23 ish at the time and i have no doubt that if i had been anything under 20 i would have either failed or passed and subsequently done myself some serious damage (i had about 3 decent car crashes before i was 20).

Don't stress tom.

I failed mine first time and i went with oyb training (alex & Gren) i was failed for being too yes thats right TOO observent!!!!

I was supposidly checking my blinds too much!

i'd riden 50's and 125's for about three years less than ten years ago, yet the guy with me on the training hadn't riden in 20 years! een thou i was far more confident all through the training he passed first time.

I took my retest about 2 weeks later, i took the attitude of i really dont care and passed with one minor for acelerating too early approaching a national speed limit sign

I did the chap on the corner test, he failed me first time for cutting right hand turns, which I really could'nt understand as he never saw me doing one, then again he was a right 'fish' who was checking his moustache in his rear view mirror as he drove off  .

I trained with Red Star Training ( based on Marsh Barton Est.) in the late eighties, really nice guys if any one remembers them!

Don't worry Tom, feels crap now but feels great when you finally do pass  :D!
