No doubt about, managing to miss the wedding anniversary two years in a row because I was off on long rides on my bike.

Done aLot but I guess so has everyone right and this is a feel good thread after all... Earned the Coveted Green Beret and Commando Flashes at just 16, completed 100+ parachute jumps, traveled round the world, and survived a few combat experiences. Rode an enfield around India. Retired from the rat race at the age of 49 and left a 75+k job and packed everything up and moved over to France to start a new life running a Bikers B&B. Made it to 50 in tact.

BUT! they pale into insignificance when I say that I married my childhood sweetheart "The-Lovely-Wendy" in 2005. Something I should have done the first time round in 1977.

Firstly i like to say well done to JULIAN as this is the sort of thread this site has been lacking lately.

It grapped my attention straight away and its really positve. Well done mate

Hope you don't mind me adding my bit as i havn't posted for a while but "the best thing i have ever done" is splitting from the "EX" 12 years ago. After a 5 year relationship   I wasn't married so its not a divorce. Plus i havn't got anything else that has made me more proud. Sorry mate

I was heavly into dept

I was heavly into drugs

I was a heavy smoker

I was heavly going down hill big time

Then she had an affair, i left and life hasn't looked better  Cleaned up just drink too much now

Other then that i havn't done alot then the usual things we have all done.

2nd best thing is taking bike test many years ago and being part of the biking family

Best thing I've ever done..?

not in any particular order..

Having the courage to walk away from people who have caused me pain by their own hangups... and then getting on and living life!!!

Getting my bike license, and as a result meeting loads of fantastic people, travelling to amazing places and generally having fun! :D

And of course not forgetting Mr Smiler, cause fun ain't no good if you've no one to share it with xx
