A quick Google search turned up these ....

£250 for a single CBR6 RR, but reduces to £180 if 4 are hired .... http://www.patracking.co.uk/about.php

£180/190 for a 04 ZX6 or 07 Gixxer6 .... http://www.ladysnootsltd.co.uk/prices.htm

£175 for R6's .... http://www.chameleonsport.com/trackbikehire.html

Hottrax list a couple of people too at £225 ... http://www.hottrax-online.com/index.php?cPath=37

For foreign (spanish) trackdays, how about hiring a new slick-shod R6 for £300/day .... http://www.tracksense.co.uk/bikehire.htm

Older R6's in spain from £175 ... http://www.bikesdelsol.com/hire.htm

But the best deal seems to be focused events - an 07 R6 AND the trackday for an inclusive price of £225 or £235 - that has to be good value  http://www.focusedevents.com/hire_bikes.asp

With Focused you'd more than likely have to be doing one of their trackdays to hire their bikes - they take them with them to the events, I doubt they'd want to trek all the way over to Llandow to hire one out... Could be a similar situation with some of the other places mentioned... :?

It sorta makes that clear ........ but £225 for a day at Donny, inluding the use of a fully supported new R6, has to be decent value :?

I tell you what Focus or not i would deffo consider this. Donny's what £150 for the day and for an extra £75 you get a bike thrown in and no need to hire a van or tow a bike there so get there in half the time.

All you would need is to load up your tent for the night and the jobs a goodin.

This has to be the way forward surely

Can you not read what's posted/look through the site

"All hires bikes are subject to an indemnity and availability so please call us on 08702 646268, regarding this before booking. They come with a full tank of petrol but after that you will need to pay for any additional fuel.
The indemnity regarding hire bikes is £495, which is taken at the beginning of the event. As long as the bike returns as it was hired out to the rider, we will refund the full £495. Any damage to the bike will mean that we will not refund the £495 and you will no longer be able to use the bike for the rest of that event."

So if you're gonna bin it, do it in the last session, be a bit of a bummer to do it in the first session

I would imagine you could also insure your indemnity, in the same way you do with hire cars

Yeah, potentially, but have a minor tip-off and your day's over, even if the bike just needs a new brake lever to be fully functional again...
