I'm near Sherborne/Yeovil, I did at least one of the earlies last year, like you-up 4.30am left at 5am to make the start before 6am-but I will say it was worth it, in the 'summer' it's a great time of day to be out and about add to that clear roads (coz most normal people are still in bed ) and a few other nutters who have got up in the middle of the night ......you've got to try it at least once

we will be leaving exeter at 8am, if people want to meet at McDonalds in tivvy for 8, we can all meet at bickleigh for the start

there is a pub on the bridge called the trout - meet in their carpark its big enough

duno what time the van opens at torrington - maybe someone up that way could let us know - please.

after that will stop at bude
