WALES SUCKS

Post by Cheese Monkey »

I was in Wales today for a little bimble :D . I headed up from Barry through the valleys and the Brecon Beacons, stopped for lunch, then straight across to Worcester and back down to Plymouth via the A38, only did a bit of motorway. Rode about 350 miles 8) .

But when I was coming up through the valleys, I got pulled by the police.

3 times.

In 30 minutes.

First one was a little roadblock they had set up, I got waved in and had a polite chat with a friendly biker cop about not having the right stamp on the exhaust and make sure I put the clear visor on at night yes sir no sir 3 bags full sir

Second one was LITERALLY 30 seconds later, I pull away, turn off at first roundabout, see him come flying up behind me, lights on, pulled over again. Bollocked like a small child for me numberplate, despite me telling them I'd talked to the ones just over the road (still within sight), 30 seconds ago.

Third was 20 min mins later, me taking it really easy paranoid as [censored] now. Clocked him coming up behind me. Sure enough, blue lights on behind the grill, over to side of the road again. I was really pissed off, twice I could just about handle, but three was taking the piss. And I told the little jumped up twat that aswell. Apparently I 'contravened a right hand turn box' . Which was complete rubbish as I hadn't done that curse . According to him I'm going to end up as just another statistic

Someone said there was a focus on bikers this week around there. But I didnt realise that meant I would be criminalised the instant I entered the area. I just about laughed off being pulled twice, but three was just downright taking the piss and I felt bikers were being picked on as an easy target to score points.

Welsh police force = NAZIs

I will not be going back there, which sucks, as once I was out of the villages the roads were very nice :D

Oh and I have NEVER been pulled over for any reason before

I've been over in Wales LOADS!!! Never ever got pulled, in fact the only police encounter I've had in Wales was an off duty sarg who had binned his Volvo BIG STYLE in..................a 30 zone! wonder if he got breath tested..?

I reckon it has to be some sort of crack down, some of those roads DO attract some right nutters

Glad you didn't get a ticket tho...

There was, but I would of thought there would be a crackdown on people riding like nutters out on the open roads, rather than bimbling through some villages taking in the scenery, on the way out there.

Another point, how much bloody salt do you need on the roads!!! They were practically white!

Mate how you kept your cool i don't know.

I would of been arrested for assaulting a Police officer by the 3rd pull.

Put it this way at least next time one pulls you over and asks

"DO YOU KNOW WHY WE PULLED YOU OVER SIR ?"

You can say "YES I BL**DY DO AS THERE CAN'T BE ANYTHING ELSE LEFT YOU HAVN'T SPOTTED YET"

That would be a good idea.

Dont let it rest write to MCN or someone and tell people about it. Maybe people may then wake up to whats really happening to bikers and the police (in General) - sod off GSXRSi

I was in Wales a couple of years ago, I got done for speeding. Three points £60 fine 34 in a 30, apparently. I aint been back since. As for complaining there is no point, they only patronise you and talk to you like a child! you did the right thing and told him what you thought! You have more patience than me I would have told the second one what I thought

Blimey, could understand the Bandit getting a pull because of it's minimalistic looks and then being let go once they realise that technically it's all legal but on a (I'm guessing) standard ZX7R it's a bit much.

Have to rethink a long weekend going to Oulton Park via North Wales later in the year.
