I can normally get two bikes in, plus spare wheels, stands, genny, warmers, boxes of kit, leathers and riding kit, tent, fart-sack, food etc. - how much clobber do you normally bring along?
I raced at the original Angelsey circuit a number of times, it was a 4-hour drive up from Leicester, towing the ol' cosmic caravan behind the van, further from here, but no caravan will speed things up a bit. The weather there was either glorious, or minging, one extreme or the other, nothing in between

Hey boys (and girls), I've decided to open the season's account at Anglesey, I'm booked on Yay! I had to blag it a bit when the No Limits guy asked what my screen name on GJ was, but he booked me on anyway  8) 8)
Right, fresh slick on the back this weekend in preparation - only done two laps, though they were at the TT!

Yeah, could tie up on the way, not sure yet whether I'll go via Swindon and Gloucester to pick up the M5 or up the M40 to Brum and join the M6 there - Have to check the girlriend's tw@t-nav to see which route it recommends, we could meet at one of the services on the M6 above Brum easily enough.
Unfortunately the extra space in my van's been nabbed by one of my regular trackday buddies so I can't offer it to GSXRsi, sorry if I raised your mopes a bit there mate :?

Wow, what a circuit 8) :D 8) Wide, smooth, fast, undulating, a proper race track, highly recommended - shame it's so far away - it's 280 miles from Newbury, quite a bit further for you guys down in the SW peninsula. It really is worth making an annual pilgrimage though, it's a truly blinding circuit to ride.
Good to ride with you again Jason, and as you've found, tyre warmers rock! 8) Bobbins for you next time sir?
Hopefully the video footage will come out ok... 8)

absolutely superb, favourite circuit thus far...forget places like donnington and silverstone wales has better tracks! over 7 hours to get there thogh from plymouth.

shame is so damn far away. A pleasure to ride with you again.

annoyingly when filming you, the point at which I knocked the bike cam upwards with my knee was right at the start of that session when I nearly ran into the back of you when you slowed to check if I was behind at the end of the warp speed section! So unforutunately that session just shows alot of Sky :( its as though I am doomed to never get footage of you...ironically the other two sessions I filmed came out ok.

Shame about the footage, never mind, I'm sure there'll be another opportunity (besides, you were quicker than me last week so I don't mind not seeing that  )

heres the footage that did come out...after all that fannying around with duct tape and cable ties I still didnt manage to position it without the fairing in shot   (the first vid is justins repositioning which is much better than the second two which are my efforts after 30 mins with a role of duct tape:
