I don't have too because I know he didn't

Stately never said once on this forum he was a weekend warrior, as well you know.

If you can show me where he did, I promise on my life I will leave this forum and never return.

May I be struck down in an horrific accident if I don't.

That's gotta be worth it hasn't it :D

I absolutely promise that if you can find where stately admitted to being a weekend warrior / fair weather rider, I will leave this forum.

If I don't I will donate a grand to the charity of your choice.

You have that in writing now, so it's binding.

Gotta be worth it surely. :D

And there you have the typical response from any Ducati owner when you criticise their bikes,

"YOU'RE JUST JEALOUS BECAUSE YOU CAN'T AFFORD ONE, NAH, NAH NE NAH NAH"

testicles.

New Ducati's are expensive, but anyone with the money to buy a new R1 or blade, can quite easily afford a near new Ducati.

I bought a used 748 a year back and it was the biggest pile of pooh I've owned.

I can only assume those who rave about them don't go near the roads when there's a hint of moisture in the air.

Reliability may be better than it was, but quality of finish isn't.

When Winter came I could actually watch that Ducati dissolving before my eyes.

They are good bikes, but strictly for weekend warriors and low mileage fair weather riders.
i used my ducati for a 40 mile daily commute without any issues, took it to le mans motogp and was the only one not complaining of aches and pains. i have rode my dukes on trackdays and had more fun on them than any other bike ive owned. how did your bike dissolve before your eyes as well, did it turn into a puddle of mercury on your garage floor ? i knew of a 748 with over 70k on the clock that was bought from new and used as a commuter into bristol everyday and never missed a beat so hows that bike ridden by a fair weather weekend warrior

Hmm, I would hazard a guess that it was aimed at you, but as I'm not the author I may be wrong. :)

Oh yeah.

Drinking and when sober watching rugby, and moor boozing.

What a great life you have.

Your family must be very proud of how you've turned out
