Re: CADWELL PARK OR ROCKINGHAM
not done cadwell its on my lists of tracks I want to see - most people who have done it rave about it. Whichever choice you make you wont be dissapointed would be my guess.
Rockingham is one of my favourite tracks and the one I have gone back to the most.
the thing about it is that someone elses personal preference might not turn out to be be yours...I personally prefer both versions of Rockingham to Donnington or silverstone....one mans meat is another mans murder and all that.
If you have seen neither I would make the choice on which has the most conveniant available day and which is less hassle to get to or sort accomodation for. I would also make the choice based on the TDO rather than the track. If one of the dates your considering was No limits and the other wasn't I would pick the no limits date.

Cadwell cadwell cadwell !!!
Not that I'm biased towards the place but if I didn't enjoy living in the s west I'd move to lincolnshire just to be near the place. Such a wonderful place to ride and so much fun all round, the place has so much character and takes a few sessions to learn
Both myself and layne have onboard footage from cadwell, mines up on youtube inc the infamous deej roll n tumble lol

Not been round Rockingham only above!
But prefer up and downy tracks to flat ones like Donington and Olton as opposed to Silverstone and Pembrey.
Adds an extra dimension. Cadwell is quite tight and technical (plus needs some balls in places)
. Once you’ve done it once you want to go back to try harder.
The distance can be a problem but you didn’t ask that.

Re: CADWELL PARK OR ROCKINGHAM
a difference between the two is rockingham has the plus of power for tyre warmers over cadwell if that matters to you.

Re: CADWELL PARK OR ROCKINGHAM
Cadwell every time
Sure, Rockingham's facilities are probably top-notch, but it's the track that matters, you don't ride the garage or the power supply....
My list of fave tracks is Cadwell at No.1, Brands GP and the new Anglesey Coastal tied close behind at No.2, and Oulton Park close behind them. After these, I'd say it's Donington National, Pembrey, Silverstone GP, Mallory, Llandow, and way way way behind them in a distant last place; Darley Moor - hated racing at that place

Re: CADWELL PARK OR ROCKINGHAM
just in case anyones interested me just managing to hang on as the bike does its best to highside me coming off the oval at rocky international...short clip but shows the oval banking which is always impressive

if I had to do a list of tracks I have done by preference it would go:
1. Anglesey coastal
2. Rockingham national
3. Rockingham international
4. Pembrey
5. Donnington
6. Silverstone
7. llandow
