I thought last nights coverage was pretty good especially those slo mo cams.
But i would of liked to see Rossi have a proper go around the track , tbh it seemed like he was just there to promote the new yamaha he was riding and that was the main reason for him actualy going. Does anyone agree with that?

Thats a good point , would be nice to see if he could get close to the record one day.

I would say its more to do with him being daineses main man and them sponsoring the TT races which also links to him and ago both wearing AGV helmets which is now a dainese company

The yamaha was obviously due to his motogp contract

I can't see him even trying it really. Some riders love to watch the TT but woluldn't ever attempt it. Walker was one of them i think. Its a different breed and you seriously need to be insane to even attempt it.

Parade lap with a couple of wheelies is one thing but an average lap of 131 mph is something completely different  MADNESS :?

I was going to do that as a sidecar passenger 8) , but the rules at the time excluded long chassis F2’s (which were actually more stable over humps and bumps), so we just did the Southern 100 unfortunately :( . Actually followed Dave Molyneux around in the second race on our way to becoming best new comers (until we broke a value just before the end). Never been so bruised in my life.
