Look in here for local ride outs...

Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Had a wicked time last night guys, really good to meet you all, cheers for organising it Frag!

Cant beat a bit of super glue - thats why its super! Found the right size bolt now though, so it will be a little more secure before Pembrey!

AndyW - those pics are truly shocking mate, that looks awfull! Makes you think though, especially when you told me how fast you were going.

Cheers again guys, look forward to riding with you all again!

It was a good evening, thanks for your company guys & gal :D . Shame we lost Nick (puncture) and Dave who made sure he got home ok.
Perhaps another time if we spend a little less time yapping we could have had a bit of a look round at the bikes
Also note to self-study maps and plan route there and back next time
Shane enjoyed the ride back, but can confirm an R1 is not very comfortable for passengers
Hopefully see you all again soon.

Thanks for that Frag, shame the bike didn't make it, plug the tyre, didn't like it so put another on it, then Thursday COMPLETE Electrical failure on the way to work..... Now I'm riing Fluffly's Bandit 600 as my GSXR is in bits! Then her exhaust rots through (sounded good though) and then I killed my phone in the rain on Sunday, if I didn't have bad luck I wouldn't have any!

Thanks to bikemad for spotting the leaking air from the tyre while waiting in the lay by for Frag to catch up! And thanks to Dave for following me home, avoiding the trail of tyreweld as it flies out the tyre and all up the back of the bike and me.

Must of been a big leak then. I thought tyre weld was supposed to seal the leak. :?

Tyreweld is shit to be honest! Plus the split was big, we plugged it the next day but we both looked at the tyre and remmbered the way I ride, so swapped it for another instead, it was pissing out, leaving white blobs on the road as the wheel went round!
