Also 72km North East is Circuit Paul Armagnac, Nogaro - which is nice :) but flat.
Which side is your father.

To be honest, in my experience travelling down that way if you are going to do it in a van, straight down and back, you are best off with a LD lines night sailing Portsmouth - Le Havre, or use Eurotunnel Folkstone - Calais, and blitz it on the Autoroutes

What about Ledenon, which is between Avignon and Nimes :?

The old man is to the east about 15 miles from Tarbes. Tre Sur Baise is the little market town. :D

Not sure about the date col maybe we could just contact the circuit and find out when there bike trackdays are for later in 2010 and do it off our own bats. May for me is to close to the nipper being born i would never be able to escape.
Nogaro layne is about a hour away so we could get 2 track days in :D :D

We would be able to stay at his place depending on his holiday bookings but a tent in the garden etc would be fine.

I've done both tracks a few times and they are ace. Loads of track space. My fave is Nogaro but I suppose technically they are both the same sort of difficulty level but in different ways.

Nogaro has better facilities if you are camping track side. It is also easier to recover if you fekk up a line.

Pau has more hills and has recently been resurfaced. It is unforgiving. If you fekk up your line there are less opportunities to recover.

I have a few mates who are going to Pau in early May with No Limits. From experience you can get the day much cheaper booking with a French company or direct with the track.

Either track you will not be disappointed.

Oh, I can also fully recommend full track and recovery insurance with 4 counties. I spent a bit of time in hospital there a few years ago after coming off the bike. It was superb treatment and I had the insurance to cover costs. Would have been over 20,000 Euro cost to me not including the air ambulance home!

Thanks Tom.

Nogaro reminded me of a small Silvertone although I did'nt get the chance to ride it.
