my fireblade/r1 project

Post by GIXXER KID »

hello everyone, been a while since ive sat down and posted anything on here,

thought id let you all in on my little project,

so last week i decided my fireblade needed a bit of a tidy up after the horrible winter, problem was, where do i do it....hmmm,
somehow i ended up with the bike in the lounge of my rented one bedroom flat in newquay, (with cream carpets).

so here i am today, with my bike in bits, no plastics, tank, back wheel, seats, exhaust, chain.... and so on,

well, fingers crossed, begining of next week i will be the proud owner of an r1 backend (subframe, plastics, light, seats and undertray)

and so the project begins!!!!

ill get some pics up tomorrow when im back at my flat, and ill keep everyone posted,

just ordered chain and sprockets and some dunlop qualifiers

Gixxer Kid.

Looks good.
I think this is where I got my plate made up http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/QUALITY-CAR-BIKE- ... 20af7b3b34

Be warned if it is the same place then on a rear plate it will not put any white on it as the must be printed some how.

i.e. I had St. Georges cross so just got a red cross on the yellow background.
