Look in here for local ride outs...

Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

TLS-Moose wrote:Well, I actually got up this morning, thought it looked like a great day, and went down to Maccy D's for a nice ride ..... but got waylaid at the fuel station and got there about 9.35 ..... you guys must have been pretty smart leaving

Having said that, my hands were pretty darned cold after that short rip, so I just scuttled back home and meddled in the garage for a while 8)
Sorry about that Mouse we would obviously have hung on if we'd known you were on your way. Only 3 off us left Exeter, but we picked another 8 or 9 @ Plymouth so we had to leave on time to meet with them. We still managed to be a bit late after Delvey had a crack in his 2-stroke exhaust, and then I was trying to run out last October's stale fuel and I've got no fuel gauge, so I had to stop on the way when I hit reserve. Would it be a good idea in future if the lead rider gave their mobile phone number so someone can call through in such circumstances? I expect someone will tell me of a good reason, why that's not a good idea? Still it could have been worse, you could have come out on the ride and ended up having to get a lift home!
Andy 075544 32993, Honda CB500S. (don't laugh it's faster than my old CG125 :-)) Dropped once, got crash bungs now. I don't suffer from 'insanity', I enjoy every minute of it!

No, it was entirely my fault for not saying I'd be there before hand  All I had to do was post up that I'd be there, but I didn't know until I got up that I fancied going

Not a problem at all 8)
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....

There is another guy who will remain nameless ( R1Dave  ) That never notices that anything is going on behind him until in his case we turned off in Devon and he was in Cornwall
