Very nice funky ....... except in your final little bit about output ....... where did you get 84bhp from :? I think that was the hairdressers bike that had been done earlier in the morning

Mine was 113bhp (with the db killers in, less with them out  )

Thanks Moose, so I was supposed to put my bike details on here!
Quoted 57bhp, 35ft/lb's, 120m/h or 193km/h. Test result 47bhp @ 9000rpm, 31ft/lb's @ 7100rpm & 183 km/h @ 10500rpm. Was it the lower the number the better :!: Like I once herd a girl tell a guy who definetly wasn't me, 'size doesn't matter', grip n how you use it is what's important    'N' sorry Wankey I mean.... er.... boy's can be so childish sometimes.
Andy 075544 32993, Honda CB500S. (don't laugh it's faster than my old CG125 :-)) Dropped once, got crash bungs now. I don't suffer from 'insanity', I enjoy every minute of it!

Really

First three runs were with home-made db killers in, last run (yellow) was with them out .....

Right, editted pic so you can see more of it ......... good news though - it holds peak power from just after 8250 all the way through to 10250 8)

Also bear in mind Si's black R1 was showing a peak of 125, then Blademan's K8 Gixxer showed us how it's done with 155 8)

Thanks for checking all our bikes out Jamie. Another of my impractical suggestions I'm sure, but if you could do the same sort of thing again, but with some sort of emissions monitoring, and adjustments so that we could all come away with a little more power, or smoother running than we arrived with, I reckon that would be popular. I can appreciate it might make it a little slower, yeh I know another half baked idea....

Thats the big difference between using the dyno for power runs, and being able to properly map the fuelling :? (as I am sure Jam will point out in due course  )

I did ask, and Jamie has a Lambda facility, but it's fiddly at present as it doesn't plug directly to the dyno (thats another £3k+ module). Still a valid way of checking whether you're going in the right direction with mods though
