Not raining here at the moment but it has been so i'm guesing the minehead road will be slippy as fook so i will be at McDonalds in about 15 minutes to see who turns up and to see what everyone wants to do.
If you have a way to come for this only you can decide if you want to ride in the wet ( i know what Si will say )

See you shortly
Colin

Hey everyone

This week has been a load of firsts for me and riding in the rain isnt one that i wish to do just yet. If the rideouts postponed for brighter weather then i will keep my sundays free for the next few weeks in hope for some sun.

Hope the few that turned up had a good time.

A good ride despite the weather, which could have be a lot worse, folks generally being cautious on the wet stuff, and mad as usual on the intermittent dry bits. We didn't do the 'Summer Rideout' route up to Minehead, so I think we should do that some time soon. Good to see some new faces & thanks for organising it Colin.

well, yes i did turn up and rode in the wet, infact did the whole revised route through the rain, hail, thunder and brimstone (just like bambam predicted)

good comapny as usual, 2 groups instead of 5 but i think they were pretty fair paced groups. group one had an easy run and good pace where as the number 2's spoke to mr sulu and engaged warp drive

did the traditional westbay run and came back via the awesome (and mostly dry) yarcombe road - a new fave for cheese monkey and frag i think.

a good day, iffy weather, top company and lovely coffee :D

cheers coln
