SWB Points on licence total

Post by Jay »

For a bit of fun I thought we'd total up all the points on our licences we've all carefully gathered over the years

Me, am still at 6

So that's 6 + (what ever the next poster has, and so on)

It's only a matter of time before I get some more though

I have none at the moment. A completely clean and spotless licence.

But I did Have 11 before I got banned for a year (accumalation of points + wreckless riding and speeding prosecution)

Then I got my licence back and got it up to 6 points again but they are all gone now as I have kept my licence points free for over 5 years. (Im alot more sensible and cautious on bikes now).

So in total I have had 17 and a year ban.

Was banned many years ago for being drunk on a TS125, I got a taxi home from a mega night out in town and then fancied a kebab! Then had 3 for speeding past a camera, but none on my licence now for about 10 years!!

I did have 3 for speeding once - 70 in a 40 - would've got away with it but I had a go at the copper

They came off about 6 years ago and it's CLEAN 8)

I have got 3 at the moment. (And trying very hard not to get anymore) :? . It is hard believe me...

LOL last Sunday went out for a spin with Loz, were doing a fair pace  . On the way back I was speeding quite a bit.

So anyway Police phones up the next day. I shat myself coz I'm still on 2 year probation period - 6 points are you're out.

Would have been gutted if it had been about bikes, coz next time I get caught speeding, I lose my licence, and would have to do the whole lot again.

Phew :P

Claud - 3 points and nervous

I've managed to stay clear so far.

A GPS Radar & Gatso Detector in the car has help out though.

Ahh heeem

Apr 04 - 125mph on Friday afternoon A38 (2 of us caught by an unmarked). Put down as 98mph. 3PP and £60

Sep 04 - 51mph in a 40 (Embankment Road between the camera's) just keeping up with the traffic in my car.

Not good for insurance 6 points in one year. Still manage to retain my IAM membership
