Hi from Paignton

Post by lionscar »

Hi Folks, Ignore the username, my name is Dave, Im new to computers but have been biking day in day out for 24 years. I currently own an 04 Busa (best bike ever) and a 98 ZX9RC1, also have a GPZ750 hardtail chop (project) so Ive got something to tinker with.
Bikes in the last few years have been a Harley XLH1100, a very tatty 02 Busa, a Kwak VN1600, a Gl1500 Wing and a 99 Busa (see a pattern ? yeah I love Busa's)
I am a member of the I.A.M and Devon Advanced Motorcyclists, after riding for 20 years joining the I.A.M was the best move I have ever made, without doubt it has saved my life on a few occasions and the effect it has on Insurance quotes is incredible, worth every penny.
I ride whatever the weather (sheet ice excepted) and love every second of it.
I found this site by pure chance whilst looking at online M/cycle parts shops and Im glad I did, considering weve got the best weather in the UK and the Paignton Bike nights we seem to have a very small Biking community in the Bay, anyone else remember the glory days of the Black Horse ? Those were the days!

Hi Dave. Welcome. New to biking myself and have been looking for a few biking buddies in the bay with no success. A club sounds good to me.

hi ya dave, welcome to the site.

There are 3 or 4 clubs in the bay area and meet at various pubs on different nights of the week.

Thats a healthy selection of bikes you have had, do you get bored with them or just like to chop and change ?
