Another new one !

Hi all,
I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible on rideouts/trackdays !
I'm fairly new to biking in that i passed my test March 09, I didn't take long to get the bug though and after riding my srad gsxr 600 for a year (and about 7k miles ) i bought a 02 R1 and in the last few days i bought myself a k1 gsxr 750 track bike ! I'm yet to do a track day but i can't wait to do one and i'm sure it will be a bigger bug than road riding ! (well i hope so cos i've got the track bike now !!)
Anyway i'm always up for a ride and if anyone has organised a trackday (for a complete novice to trackdays) then give me a shout !

hi and welcome to the site.

i am off to pembrey on september 25th with a couple of novices if you are up for it. nice easy track to play on. we do have our very own club/forum trackday in June every year - top day out and very friendly track time.
Have a look for the Llandow thread.

keep an eye out in the rideout sections as this time of year they can pop up, failing that post up when u are out for a bimble and i am sure someone will be along to keep you company

just wondered are you on the r1 forum aswell ? As for Pembrey i'm meant to be going on 24th Sept. This was going to be my 1st track day but as it's over a month away i was hoping to get 1 or maybe even 2 in before that ! Do you know of anything before that date ? Still could be tempted by 2 days of Pembrey though ! Is it something that you've organised or is it something that i'd have to book and what are your travel arrangements ?
