There are some good roads around there mate, try around saddlworth moors (where the murders took place) and also the peak district isn't too far away, some cracking roads around there and tend to be wel surfaced.

But you're right... not like our devon roads ;-)

Saddleworth is a nice run been through it in a car so i can imagine it on a bike there are a few roads i wouldnt mind riding but devon its the 'open road' factor rolling hills amazing bends i love doing the run from Shaldon to Torquay past Labradore bay wow thats a run, in the sunshine viser open unless ofcourse your stuck behind a french people carrier who just wouldnt move over a little bit to let ya pass haha but ye should be back on the roads sometime next week so il see ya round SWB'S

Tis a nice one, though gets very busy. There are even better roads around mid devon and the south hams.

True, i think i know which 1 you mean coming back from near Paignton Zoo theres that long twisty road and you comeout at East Ogwell thats another nice run, the only thing with the Shaldon to Torquay run is near the very start of the run them twisty bends you get some right d***s flyin round um, but after youve cleared that your basically safe, its nice to sit at Labradore bay for like an hour and just like look out too sea then get back on ya bike and finish the run
