Textile Clothing
I got got a text from my mates wife saying that she had textile cloths and was wondering if she had to treat them with anything and if so how offten. I had no idead as I don't go out in the wet but any advices would help.

First remove all the armour, then wash on a cool wash with Nikwax Tech Wash (you can apply it direct to the garment first to pre-treat any bad stains). Then wash the garment again using Nikwax TX Direct to re-proof it. Next tumble dry it to re-activate the water proofing.
There are various products available, but I have found Nikwax to be very good.

Just re-read your original post, on average it's best to wash and re-proof textiles every 6 months, but varies dependant on how much riding you do.

Anyone know of any decent leather cleaner aswell? For white

Autoglym do a leather cleaner, smells nice too!

You can get any weatherproofing wash from most dry cleaners or places like Blacks. I use to use normally cleaning wipes, works well on bugs etc and gets the leather smelling lemon fresh.
