Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

DATE - 31-07-2011

START POINT - EXETER SERVICES
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?daddr=Exe ... s&t=h&z=15

LEAVING HERE AT 4AM

1ST PICKUP POINT
DRUM BRIDGES ROUNDABOUT, NEWTON ABBOT
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=DRUM+BR ... w&t=h&z=15

MEETING POINT BUS STOP ON THE ROUNDABOUT

LEAVING HERE APPROX 0415

2ND MEETING POINT

LEAVING HERE APPROX 0445

NEXT MEETING POINT
TESCOS, ST AUSTELL
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=TESCOS+ ... w&t=h&z=15
LEAVING HERE APPROX 0530

FROM HERE IT'S ON TO LANDS END.

From there Badger will lead the ride back to the cafe where we can get some bacon butties etc and a mug of tea :-bd

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE FUELLED UP WHEN YOU GET TO YOUR MEETING POINT

We will be running a LEADER, TAIL END CHARLIE and JUNCTION MARKER setup so as not to lose anyone.

LEADER FROM EXETER TO DRUM BRIDGES - COLIN(rsv4COL)
LEADER FROM DRUM BRIDGES - SIMON(billinom8s)
LEADER FROM LANDS END - JOHN(BADGERKDD)

TAIL END CHARLIE ??????

ALL RIDERS WILL BE ASKED TO JUNCTION MARK, if you have never done this before don't panic. All you have to do is stop when the ride leader points to a junction, make sure you stop before the junction so everyone knows when to turn.
Then just sit back and wait for the TEC (tail end charlie) to come past - you may have a bit of a wait as the ride can get broken up sometimes, depending on how many riders we get.
WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T LEAVE THE JUNCTION UNTIL TEC COMES THROUGH, THIS WAY WE WILL NOT LOSE ANYONE.
OTHER PEOPLE WILL BE RELYING ON YOU FOR A GOOD DAY AS MUCH AS YOU ARE RELYING ON THEM FOR THE SAME.

FOR THOSE WORRIED ABOUT FUELLING

EXETER - ST GERMANS - 56 MILES
ST GERMANS TO ST AUSTELL - 26 MILES

Me leading from Penzance..... :-ss Oh testicles I had best look at the route then ;)

Disclaimer: Route may be subject to change due to time constraints, general agreement, leader forgetting the official route, over excitement and wanting to show everyone some great roads etc...... ;) ;) :D :D

Or at worst me forgetting I'm leading and riding straight home closely followed by twenty odd bikes and scaring the crap out of my house mates :-o =)) =))
Cut me in half and I'v got Suzuki written right through me!
