RIP Trumpet1050

Post by scottyhutch »

Very sadly on Saturday August 7th Dave Mc'Carthy, AKA Trumpet1050, was found dead in his own home aged 53 years.

Dave lived on his own and had been suffering from depression for some time and tragically took his own life and was found by a friend.
He was unmarried and never had any children.

Dave was very well known by the biking community in the Plymouth and surrounding areas and was a regular at Captain Jaspers.

I've rang everyone that I have phone numbers for that knew Dave and know he had friends on here that I can't contact directly.

I will post the funeral date on here when it's been set so people can to pay their respects if they wish.

I for one am gutted to have lost such an honest, straight talking genuine friend and will dearly miss having a cup of tea with Dave at Jaspers on a sunny day.

RIP Dave, always sad to hear someone so close to us dies. I met him once down Cap'n Jaspers. Sadly I didn't know him that well. I Can only hope it was a quiet release for him
Keep us informed of funeral dates etc.

Dave McCarthy's funeral will be held on Monday Aug 22nd at 9.30 at Efford crematorium and then a cup of tea down at Jaspers afterwards if anyone wants to attend.
Rather than flours it's been decided that Dave would of preferred donations to the Air Ambulance.
