Biker Weekender....

Post by Smiler »

Just trying to gauge interest atm, but who would be up for a bike weekender...?

What I have in mind is a country pub that has B&B and camping with decent facilities, so folk have a choice in accommodation options! Somewhere with some cracking bike roads in its locality.....

The idea is, turn up on the Friday afternoon/evening...a couple of beers, some grub etc....next day, rideout!! woo hoo! Roughly 150 miles, so no more extreme than a usual SWB group ride!....return to pub/campsite...few beers/grub..you get the idea?? :)): :)): Sunday would give people plenty of time to get home, I am not thinking of doing this in North Yorkshire ok??!! :))

It wouldnt be a 'strictly bike only' thing, the idea is to make it a social weekend with everyone welcome!

ok, so....whaddya think?

Smiler xx

so my annual camping weekend is being hi jacked this year then Smiler :-o , I was just looking at what dates I could do this year but i'll let you organise it instead while I enjoy three weeks and a wedding in the Filipines in May :D .

If anyone is interested was thinking of doing my weekend in july or mid Sept this year, often warm dry and sunny in September for the past couple of years.

Tommy, have a look in Events/Meets section, all the details are there!

I am leaving people to get themselves booked in with Hollybush, save making it complicated, but you are most most welcome to come along.

We are doing a rideout on the Saturday, covering the Welsh mountains and roughly 150ish miles and leaving about 10.30 - 11am ish....
