Hiyall,
First post on this site,I live in S Devon near Kingsbridge and ride an orange KTM 990 Adventure, had my first bike when 16 a Suzuki T200 Invader (two stroke twin) never took my bike test as I needed a car licence for work so took to four wheels until 7 years ago when I had a go on a mates XT600E and got bit by the bug again, this time I took my test on a 125 VanVan I'd bought 2nd hand which I later passed on to my son(it was a great little bike a lot of fun we both really liked it), I then bought an XT600 like the one my mate had and did 20k miles on it again it was a great bike but riding through the winter months took it's toll on the paintwork and it either needed stripping down and getting the frame powder coated, stainless/ally rims and stainless spokes etc. etc. or changing for something else, I decided the latter after test riding a few machines and then finding the KTOOM at a very reasonable price with lots of extras included in MCN, the only draw back so far is the difference in fuel consumption the Xt would deliver around 50mpg no matter how I rode it, the KTM struggles to get 40mpg and if I ride it hard that can go down to 30mpg but this is with Akropovic cans fitted I've thought about putting the stock ones back on (sold with the bike) but the Akros do make a great sound. My Son passed his test when he came of age and now has a BMW F800S which he enjoys a lot.
Cheers everybody!

Welcome to the site mate,
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.
