if those with half a clue would like to help out those without, lets get a list together of stuff you NEED to take along.

license - BOTH PARTS
water - even if it's not hot, you will still dehydrate
fuel - chances are you will use more than a tank and there is no fuel on site
food - you will be hungry through the day
hat/gazebo - there is no shade at Llandow so if its sunny, or raining you will need some cover
bike
bike keys
leathers - two piece with 360 zip or one piece
leather gloves
helmet
ear plugs - for the more delicate amongst us

Nope no kite mark, just a size sticker, seemed a bit odd on a lid that's less than 2 yr old.

Jaffa cakes on the list. ;) ;)

As for your helmet, you have to have the ACU approved gold sticker, like this http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle- ... ticker.jpg, if you are racing. Track days are not races. They would pull you up for having a non-motorbike helmet as car helmets are different and pass different standards.

That said I've never seen anyone checking helmets. I recall my brothers Caberg didn't have this sticker either, but it was time for a new one anyway, so he just bought a new Arai.

At the track the marshalls do have a little look at your bike, I've seen them make people tighten the chain up and things like that. Other than that all they're looking for is your wrist strap to make sure you're in the right group.
