Ooops!!!!

Post by goatpants »

Avoided serious injury today. Overtook a car but didn't see some black hatchback coming out of the shadows. He took my off side rearset from under my foot along with the rear hanger and mirror glass. My sidi vertigo boot is ruined and it split from the impact ripping the zip open. I have damaged my ligaments in my right foot with a slight fracture of my ankle. M slider left a long black designer stripe down the side and amazingly I stayed on. Police and ambulance called (tho I didn't call them). Nice trip in to A & E and saw a doctor and nurse whom both I know personally. Nice day

Bloomin ek mate, the big dude was looking down on you kindly, very lucky indeed.

New slogan.

Jump on, kill bugs, go home!

Ride safe everyone. Red mist and motorcycles do not mix, choose your spot carefully and THEN nail it.

Two members have now had a very lucky escape in the past few months. Who's next and will luck still be on their side?

Very glad you are okay Mr. Pants.

Thanks guys..... I did go up to Zuki's then off to torry on to bideford to barny and smack bang wallop 2 [Censored] miles from home. Very lucky escape. Can't believe I stayed on the bike with such little damage sustained.

I was nearly caught like that under the trees between Bideford and Torrington on the old RD 400 heading to Zuki,s a couple of weeks ago, just put the indicators going and had changed down and was winding the old gal up and pulling up when i saw a glint of a black car coming the other way , would have been curtains for me and the RD if i had gone 1 second earlier
