You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Thank-you.
Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.
Types of rideouts - viewtopic.php?f=94&t=89587" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Just a Heads-up - There are regular Sunday ride outs... meeting around 10.15 from Teignmouth train station, just to gauge some of the runs... we did cheddar 2 weeks ago, I have a feeling it may be westward Ho this Sunday (however I have to rain check this one) its all very relaxed (no pressure) cruisers, learners, sport bikes.. all welcome,
if anyone fancies it - just turn up, stands usually go up around 11-ish,
Also we have bike night on tuesday eve, at whistlestop caff (Teignmouth train station) till around 9.30pm,
on a fine day you can count over 100 bikes.. just thought i'd mention it, if anyone is stuck for something to do...
Just out of interest... does the forum hold any regular ride-outs and if so where is the meeting point?
Its all weather and work dependant for me matey, hence hardly any bike time this year thus far but may try to make one of these. What type of rides are they?
What type of rides are they?
pretty varied, we've done weymouth, cheddar, bude, exmoor, cornwall, yet sometimes they can be small runs.. like to captain jaspers (Plymouth)
I'm not sure what time they will be arriving R.E westward Ho as I can't make this one, usually we stop for a few ciggi breaks maybe a coffee if its a long one along the way, can't be of anymore help with this one I'm afraid, if I was going I could have text you to let you know as we got closer... but...
Bullet wrote:I was meaning more of type of ride as in pace! leisurely paced, fast paced, a bit for everyone?
Ah.. the ride style depends on who turns up.. sometimes we have a learner, also the ride out can consist of sometimes 6 and sometimes 20 bikes... typically we do the whole group scenic leisurely thing - going, and groups tend to peel off into their preferred riding style groups on the return journey,
Hope this helps.
Just a quick heads-up...
there is a small bimble this Sunday.. from Teignmouth station 11.30-ish am
Going to Speed (exeter) then on to Honiton for their badass ice cream
For anyone twiddling their thumbs come Sunday,
May see you there

Yes we did westward ho, listen if ever you're stuck for summut to do on a sunday... just turn up anytime before 10.15 at Teignmouth station, we all tend to veg out and have a coffee at the caff there first before heading out, there is always a ride out planned unless its pissin' down.

As if may not be back on here in time this morning, it might be worth popping round to the train station anyway. I would suggest being there for 0945. There will tons out today
