SWB Summer BBQ/Rideout/Camp/Bonfire 20th July 2013

Last year was the first time we held this event and was a huge success! This Summer we are doing it all again, and here are the details

Where ??? Mark, nr Highbridge, Somerset.


Here's the plan.....

We have been given FREE use of a field for this weekend, and are hoping to use it as a venue for Southwest Bikers Summer BBQ + Rideout!! The idea is this,
There will be someone on site from early morning for people who need to come and set up camp" say 8am onwards? Then have a rideout on the Saturday, leaving Mark for mid morning, taking in a lunch stop and returning mid afternoon......to then fire up the barbie!!

All welcome at this event, including 'other halves' and kids if you want to bring the family and loads of space for anyone wanting to pitch up a tent. For the evening, we have a bonfire planned - bring your pucks for your bikes as you will be parking on grass and your marshmallows for toasting!!

Costs are £10 per head (+£5 for partners/spouses - kids go free!) to include BBQ food + *soft drinks, and also goes towards Portaloo hire. There is ample room for anyone wishing to camp, or bring campervans etc. (*Anyone staying over who wants to bring any alcohol for the evening will need to sort this themselves.) And of course, bacon butties for breakfast (in exchange for some help in clearing up!)

Don't forget there will be someone on site from early morning for people who need to come and set up camp, and throughout the day while we are on the rideout.

Sorry cant make this ! Ive decided to hang up my biking boots now so no bike to ride out on! Im sure it will be another great event like last year!

Definitely up for this again was a fantastic weekend in September.
Weekend booked up work well in advance, they can't argue with that!
Will be willing to bring the guitar again for a laugh if anyone wants me to, will be sure to try and avoid the alcohol before I play this time though

Also got a better pump for my bed and bringing a smaller tent now he has his own!
