Rieju smx 125

Post by jasonleake »

Evening

I have had a good look around on the net for a lockable fuel cap before I get back to riding for my rieju smx 125 but had no joy, just don't trust anyone these days to put something in your tank

to be honest I could only think of asking the importers? They might know or otherwise if Google/ Ask/ Bing etc. can't help, maybe you could see if you can find a second hand tank from a similar bike that has a locking cap? Its a bit extreme but unless you want to go down the route of cutting, welding etc. to fit a generic locking cap then its the simplest thing I can think of? :-\
Cut me in half and I'v got Suzuki written right through me!

Do they make their own tanks or are they Acerbis? My KTM's tank is made by Acerbis so may be worth looking at other European bikes or possibly Gasgas as they are Spanish too - don't Rieju use Gasgas motors?

Presume you're trying to stop people putting stuff into your tank rather than stealing fuel - it's easier on any bike just to cut the pipe to the carb.
