Devon Air Ambulance Trust's Motorcycle Ride Out 13th July

Post by DAATAdam »

Hi All, We hope you can attend Devon Air Ambulance Trust's Motorcycle Ride Out on Sunday 13th July.

The ride starts at Heathcoat Cricket Club in Tiverton, with registration taking place from 9am - 10:30am. There will be refreshments available, provided by the cricket club. The ride will start at 11am, going on a fantastic 76mile route across Devon. The ride will end at The Den in Teignmouth, where there will be live music from Thick as Thieves and Wired. We will also have various catering options and refreshments.

Entry is only £5 and if you register before the day, this will include a T Shirt. On the day there will be a limited amount to buy for £5. You can register through our website- www.daat.org

The ride is to raise awareness and funds to keep both of Devon's Air Ambulances flying. We receive no government funding, so it is only through your support and donations that we can keep providing the fantastic service.

We really look forward to seeing you on the day.

I am hoping to be there for my very first Ride-Out! It's also a lot further than I have ever ridden in one day before too so I hope everyone is kind to the 'newbie'!

I'll be attending, anyone heading up from the torquay area? I'll be heading up for 9 as I'll need to register when I get there. If anyone wants to meet up and head on up let me know

Cheers James

I will be leaving Brixham about 8am and stopping off to meet others at Exeter at 9am. Probably get there for about 09:45 - not sure if that's too late for you but will be going past the pen inn about 08:15 I guess, cheers.

Hi guys

Thanks for posting up, I did make it there in the end. I know Tiverton well ish and had to tag on the back of a group of rides to find the cricket club.

Good little place but the ground wasn't that great as unfortunately someone's bike toppled over :(

Good weather and good route back well worth the fiver

Hopefully I'll meet you guys on the next ride out

Cheers

I felt like a real Billy No Mates, wandering around the start and finish area on my own.
