Missed a good day Jay. I felt like poo but still had a great time so thanks to all for the ride.

Hope you get that Kwacker 600 sorted in plenty of time for the ride home. Did cornish make it home OK?

No, one of the foreigners. Missed most of the names but he was riding (briefly) a ZX6-R 2000/W and ended up pillion for our trip.

What a corking weekend!! :)):

The only downside being it was too short!

Gwithian campsite is fab, biker friendly for smallish groups and the facilities are superb. Was more of a walk to the beach than I thought but so so worth the walk - Gwithian hosted the Redbull Storm Chasers final this year, so epic surf and wide stretch of gorgeous sandy beach :)):

Our rideout on Saturday was with Badger leading, he so kindly offered to be our tour guide for the day! Top fella that there Badger fella (cheers poppet, those roads we did coming back to Portreath were 8) 8) 8) )

BBQ on the Friday eve, and a table booked at the local pub, literally at the bottom of the campsite driveway....we were advised to book and I can see why, the food was deeeelish :)):

Walk along the beach at midnight (some of us *might* have had a few drinkies hic) and bacon butties for breakfast the next day, we packed up camp in the morning and headed into Hayle to stock up on the famous Philps Pasties.....amazing how people can find room in their luggage to squeeze in some of Cornwalls finest hehehehe

Top marks to Dailaughing and CornishRedBaron....lovely to have you both along :ymhug:

I reckon we will do another meet up down there next year, but maybe for 4 days rather than 2, to make it more worthwhile the trip down and also to do a bit more riding etc...

SWBers, you really do have such amazing places to ride and visit, and virtually on your own doorstep!....I know camping may not be everyones cuppa but trust me, for the sake of a bit of organising and planning, you're definitely going to have fun on a weekender

xx
