A life-time biker arrived in heaven. He was welcomed by a senior angel. ‘Most of your kind go downstairs’ said the angel ‘but you are a special case. You’ve always been faithful to your wife, never broken any traffic laws, been on lots of charity rides and often stopped to help other bikers in trouble’.

‘Your reward is heavenly biking for ever. Our bikes always remain as new. The oil, cables, chains, sprockets, tyres etc. renew themselves as you ride. The petrol tank is always half full. If you fall off you can’t damage yourself or the bike. You also have a choice of 15 models, and can swap around whenever you fancy it’.

The biker was ecstatic and headed off with a little jig down the corridor leading to the garage.
A few minute later he returned to the angel, head down and a miserable look on his face. ‘Can I cancel this deal and go downstairs please’ he asked.

‘But why’ said the angel, ‘you were so happy’.
