Hi everyone, I'm Phil, I like oldish roadbikes, i have a '78 GS1000 and a '76 550 four. both are in the shed waiting for some TLC!! the gs is having a top end rebuild and while the lump's out i'm getting the frame and bits resprayed to go with the bodywork which was done last year. a couple things now to work for.....the forks - do i keep them original or swap out for a KAT or EFE set? the pipes are in a bad way too and i don't have £700 quoted for a stainless set, has anybody had a ceramic coating job done and is is any good? then there's the stator, the carbs, the regulator/rectifier
Oh dear GOD! why did i start thinking about it......Honda, find a quiet corner - i may be some time!!

Re: Hello
welcome phil,
am sure you will find a corner here where you will be welcomed in, given a cuddle and made to feel slightly uncomfortable to a point of dirty.
or to save time, just look for moose
