You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.
Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

Robbo's Rural Rideout - Sunday 16th August 2015. RIDE CONFIR
Okay, ride out confirmed for the 16th August so here's an update to the original post; please note that the updates are in bold.
[quote="Robbo87"]
Hello all,
................... .I've put together a minor-A-road and B-road-based rideout taking in parts of Northwest Somerset and Northeast and mid-Devon. It'll be of around 135 miles or 165 miles (decided on the day) , some 'B' roads, but mostly 'minor A' roads, guaranteeing traffic-free(mostly) open roads and some great Devon & Somerset scenery.
Here's the confirmed details:
DATE - SUNDAY 16TH AUGUST
Start - Taunton 1000 hrs.
Start area - SAINSBURYS car park, Hankridge Farm, Hankridge Way, TAUNTON TA1 2LR. Please aim to arrive there by 0945 hrs latest.
Finish - Exeter M5 Services, top car park - time, whenever.
No limit on the number of bikes.
It's to be a 'semi-spirited' ride so bikes 400cc and above - sorry you superkeen 125cc-ers! If this one works I'd like to do a 'Friendly' later in the year to make up.
Pillions welcome but please bear in mind the above criteria.
We'll use the 'drop off' system.
First re-group point - approx' 22 miles in. There will be others, tba on the day.
We'll be stopping for a snack (& cake Mr nom8s!) @ approx' 75 miles in.
Fuel @ approx' 90 miles, or as required
Final re-group - Approx' 118 miles (short route) or 150 miles (long route).
1. To gauge interest, please add your name below if you're up for this.
2. I'll have copies of the route on the day for those who want them.

Re: Rural Roads Rideout - REVISED DATE, SUNDAY 16TH AUG' 20
Right, weather's looking good, and so for a change is the Fut; it's all system's go for tomorrow so looking forward to seeing you all, and a good rideout to follow.
I'll be at Hankridge Taunton Sainsburys by 0930 hrs and will have maps and a summary of the route(s) for those that want 'em.
For info' - 1. first fuel stop is approx' 90 miles in, but there'll be plenty others as needed. 2. No need to stuff a massive brekky before kick-off, just enough to last the first 70-odd miles, as that's when we're eating.
