You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Spirited ride Sat 29th or Sun 30th August

Post by ptolemyx »

Anyone up for a "spirited" ride - not race pace (kneesliders not needed) but not bimbling either (not 125 friendly), brisk enough to keep us awake - on either Sat 29th, which would allow peeps to also do Balki's Dartmoor ride on the next day, or Sun 30th?

Thinking of meeting and finishing at Tiverton Motorcycles/Morrisons and covering East Devon, Dorset and Somerset.......Tivvy, Wellington, Chard, Axminster, Crewkerne, Honiton, Sidford, Clyst st Mary, Cowley Bridge, Tivvy......or summat like that.......

Hi I live down in Plymouth can we meet a little closer at Bridges Exeter and finish there. We could then go Exeter to Okehampton, Okehampton to Launceston, Launceston to Bude Bude to Bideford then back to Okehampton through Meeth, Hatherleigh and then A30 to Bridges for food a chat and to look at the bikes?

The route will be basically as in 1st post, though may modify it a little:-

Thinking of meeting and finishing at Tiverton Motorcycles/Morrisons and covering East Devon, Dorset and Somerset.......Tivvy, Wellington, Chard, Axminster, Crewkerne, Honiton, Sidford, Clyst st Mary, Cowley Bridge, Tivvy......or summat like that.......

Simon, thanks for the tip but if the alternate route was agreed then its as good as already posted but since not I will post it up possibly for the first weekend of September.

Buggs love to go out in the evening usually at the weekend but not sure if I can make it this weekend but next weekend maybe or possibly bank holiday Monday if you are interested?

ptolemyx I will need to decline but thanks for thinking about it its just too far out of the way.

I would be up for it but I'm off to Silverstone for the w/end. Why not start early enough to end up at the pub with Simon to watch Motogp.

I'm game. That's more my neck of the woods. Weather permitting of course because quite frankly it's been crap all week!

Sat might be best day for weather, but Sat is worst day for traffic
