Look in here for local ride outs...

Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Gordano Services (BS20 7XG) 10.00

Pick up Tesco, Congresbury (BS49 5BK) 10.20 ish.

About 140 miles pretty run, some lesser roads (not green lanes).
Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?

Might be up for this. I'm guessing you'll be crossing, or on, the A38 at some early stage, would you be happy for an extra pick-up somewhere on it? There could be two of us, me from darkest E Devon and a mate from Shipham.

Yup, I know the place.
Because of work comm's I can't be 100% sure of getting there, but if it works out, look for a Y plate silver Aprilia Futura. My mate won't make it though, he's off to the BSB at Silverstone.

Just a quick hijack of the thread.....
"All these ride and route suggestions Brian, why not plan, post and be glorious leader on one? :-bd"

I did organise a ride out a couple of months back and am more than happy to do more ride outs, but my posts here and elsewhere are;
1 - where a route modification is suggested I'm trying to help the run organiser.
2 - also looking to see if other possible ride outs are likely to be supported, especially when they might not be based around south Devon. So yes, I will organise something starting and finishing at Bridgwater......

Back to the thread, I hope you had a good ride out today guys :D

Gnackered I am, yes.

9 went including young Robbo from the Peoples Republic of Ottery. Went pretty well, nice stops and grub. Bit misty for a while but warmed up a lot.
Markers managed to keep all in tow. Thanks, as always, to Mr Silva for backmarking and all else for a splendid romp.

Yup, a brilliant day out was had. Big thanks to Monseur M Yellow for organising and leading :ymapplause: .
For me there was lotsa roads never before travelled, lotsa views never before seen, all topped off with hot nosh in a canalside pub in the sun - what better. It was great to meet some old and new friends; special mention and a big thumbs up to 'Lady Enfield' for peddling so hard and keeping the rest of us honest :-bd :D
