New to the forum
Hi.
Just joined and wanting to say hello to everyone on the forum.
Also, I'm getting back into biking after 29 years due to a bad accident a week before my part 2,(remember that?),when i was 18.
Anyway, for the next year i am getting a bit of experience on a varadero 125 before my A2 test. So, just wondering if anybody knows of any meets or runs, etc or anybody who fancies a meeting up for a chinwag etc in the Somerset/Dorset area.
Many thanks in advance
Best Regards
Dave

Re: New to the forum
Hello and welcome
.
If you want to meet some of the folks off of here, head to Westbay for about 10 am ish. As you have no bike yet just hang around and look for half a dozen guys turning up ;) .
Otherwise check the 'Meets' section and see what's happening, I expect there will be an Exeter Pub Meet coming up in the next month or so.
Anyway, come on in, have a good look around and don't be afraid to join in a few chats or ask questions. We're friendly and are happy to share what we know

Hello there and welcome!
Good luck on the road back to the dark side
I'm pretty new meself and can highly recommend the place. Some of the people are a bit strange but if you can get past that then you'll be fine
I'm based in Wincanton...where are you?

Hi All.
Thanks for the warm welcome. Just to say that i actually own the varadero, but re reading my message sounds like it isn't mine.
Anyway, Thanks for the pm stinker, will arrange a meet in the next couple of weeks.
I'm based in Bristol BTW, so Wincanton is only about an hour away.
So, all being well, i will see some/most of you soon. Will keep looking at the meets.

No worries Badger,
And believe it or not, i went into the Range to buy paraffin,(to clean the chain), and 4, yes 4 members of staff, average age 18, didn't know what it was
Anyway, Looking forward to coming to the next gathering. Will keep an eye on the calendar.
Till the next post
Best Regards to everyone
Dave

You wouldn't admit to knowing what a varadero was!
Only messing,
Welcome along and nowerdays youth are so uneducated with led lights and modern tech. No life skills like paraffin heaters, or methalated spirits to clean stuff.
I bet they didn't even know brasso existed!

Anyone know of decent campsites in Cornwall?
Really comfy bike though.
But yeah, kids are too protected these days. Whatever happened to leaving school at 10 and being a chimney sweep?
Didn't do me any harm..Cough..cough..cough.
now to my original question
Would anyone know of a decent biker friendly campsite or campsites in Cornwall. Nowhere definite yet, but Cornwall is my favorite place.
About July time, (weather permitting}
